▪ The Mountain View Chapel Softball Team is selling hoagie tickets to Ice House Steaks & Pizza to help send the team to the State Tournament. Tickets are $6.00 each and are good for one small hoagie (excluding roast beef) and can be redeemed May 1st through June 30th. Please see Eric or Dora Miller in the Lobby after the service to purchase tickets or contact Dora. (Ice House Steaks & Pizza is located at the corner of King and Manatawny Streets in Pottstown) The team would love to have the church family at the games to cheer them on to victory and the hoagies would make a great dinner to bring along! ▪ Please note that we will not be taking a Benevolence Fund Offering next Sunday. Instead, we will take our Benevolence Fund Offering on May 27th in honor of Memorial Day and will be collecting monies for “The Mission Continues” as we did last year. “The Mission Continues” is a non-profit organization that believes that the leadership skills and life experiences that our wounded and disabled veterans possess, are valuable and untapped assets where every returning veteran can serve again as citizen leaders. ▪ The Swavelys have finally received their "letter of approval" from China which means, they have officially been approved to become Lia's family! If all goes well, their hope is to travel in early summer to bring Lia home. Lia is a spunky 8-year-old girl and is visually impaired. It was suggested that if anyone knows Braille, or would like to learn Braille, that it would be a great help to Lia when she comes to the Chapel for Awana and Sunday School.If you are interested in helping in this way, please contact Amy Swavely or contact the church office.

▪ Children’s Church is for children 4 years old through 4th grade. Children should sit in the Sanctuary with their parents until they are dismissed to go to Children's Church after the Announcements. 5th-7th Graders should leave the Sanctuary at 10:35 to meet their teacher in the Gym for Sunday School.

▪ Don’t forget to check the LOST AND FOUND shelves that are along the wall between the bathrooms. Any items not claimed after eight weeks will be discarded or donated to the MVC Youth Group for their annual Yard Sale.

▪ It’s time to sign up for the Summer session of Supper Club and Dessert Club! The sign-up sheet will be on the table in the Lobby until the end of April. The new rotation will run from May through July. The clubs meet once a month for dinner or dessert at people’s homes and is a great way to meet folks at the Chapel.
